Dog owners are being warned about keeping their dogs under control.
Police on Facebook say they've dealt with a number of complaints recently about dogs that aren't under proper control.
They say owners can face prosecution under the Dogs Act 1990 if dogs are dangerous, causing a nuisance, not under control or worrying livestock.
They say most dog owners are responsible but are reminding people to make sure their pooches don't land them in trouble.
