Instances of dog poo have been reported in Castletown over the past few weeks, leading to some social media posts warning about the issue.
The commissioners say it’s not as bad as it has been in the town, but they rely on locals reporting the owners who don’t clean up after their dog.
A fine can be imposed of £1000 under Castletown Commissioners byelaws, if the person responsible is caught.
