Rushen MHK, Dr Michelle Haywood, will ask what has been done in the last five years to support recruitment of teachers in science, technology, engineering, maths and other subjects.
She also wants to know what information has been obtained from exit interviews, and how that information has been used.
The questions come after a former teacher penned an open letter to MHKs.
Gareth Young claims the current 'crisis' is due to issues in recruiting and retaining staff.
