The Island's public health body is warning people to watch out for arachnids which can carry a seriously harmful disease.
On Twitter, Public Health Isle of Man is warning people to be aware of ticks.
They can carry Lyme disease which can make people seriously ill.
Public health says you should check yourself and your pets if you've been out walking in long grass or woodland.
