Ferry passengers will be disrupted this weekend after a 'failure' with a dredging programme in Heysham.
The Steam Packet has rescheduled the times of six sailings between today and Monday as a result of problems at the Lancashire port.
A combination of tidal conditions and lack of dredging means there won't be sufficient clearance for the vessel to operate.
Chief executive Mark Woodward says it's 'deeply frustrating' that passengers are facing disruption due to the essential work 'not being completed as agreed'.
