 
                            Discussions are continuing between the Manx Government and the BBC over funding arrangements for TV licences.
That's according to the Chief Minister who told Tynwald last week that he isn't concerned by how long it is taking:
In October last year politicians did a u-turn over plans to make people aged 75 and over pay for their licences.
Howard Quayle says since then government officers have spoken to the UK Department of Culture, Media and Sport and the BBC.
He was also quizzed about why Jersey seemed to be ahead of the Island in terms of negotiating an agreement:
