Firefighters were on hand last night after a discarded cigarette sparked a fire in Niarbyl.
Emergency Services say although it appeared to be a genuine accident - it took up resources which may have been needed elsewhere.
It's been confirmed nobody was hurt in the blaze.
Firefighters worked late through the night to extinguish the flames.
