Police say they want to hear from anyone who saw one of their cars on the Mountain Road at the weekend.
Officers are appealing for anyone who was on the route on Saturday between 1.20pm and 1.30pm who saw a police vehicle travelling south from Ramsey to come forward.
They say the vehicle had its blue lights and sirens on and was followed by a number of other vehicles, one of which was tailgating officers.
If you have any information you're being asked to contact Ramsey Police Station.
