Diane Kelsey has been nominated for election to the Legislative Council.
Nominations for the upper branch of the Island's parliament opened yesterday - with four vacancies to arise on February, 28 for a term of office ending on Feb, 29 2028.
The election comes as the terms of office of Marlene Maska, Tanya August-Hanson, Paul Craine and Diane Kelsey are set to come to a close on 28 February.
Mrs Kelsey has been nominated by MHK Kate Lord-Brennan, which was seconded by MHK Tim Glover and supported by Ann Corlett MHK and Tim Johnston MHK.
Earlier this year, the MLC appointed the Isle of Man government's Armed Forces Champion.
An election will now be held on Thursday, March 14.
