An Island charity helping people with Type 1 Diabetes has now had a re-brand.
Manx Diabetic Group has now been re-named Diabetes Isle of Man as it announces its latest objectives for 2020.
It comes after it was announced last month that Freestyle Libre Flash Glucose technology will be available to anyone with the type 1 strain of the condition from April.
The technology involves putting a sensor on the back of someones upper arm which monitors glucose levels which then go through a handheld reader.
The organisation is now hoping to hold more support groups and events with businesses and residents to raise awareness in the community of both type 1 and 2 diabetes.
