DHSS Restructure Social Services in Order to Save Funds
The Department of Health and Social Security have re-structured their Social Services output in an effort to save money.
With an emphasis on implementing efficiency savings the Department have been charged with the task of scaling back while keep their service consistent.
Aswell as formulating a realistic budget for the New Year they have also applied small charges to services in an effort to generate much needed revenue.
Director of Social Services Andrew Swithinbank says although the process is difficult the department are getting there:
