DHSS Independent Review into Salaried Dentists to Take Place

In line with other efforts to dramatically decrease their yearly budget the Department of Health and Social Security will be holding an independent review of salaried dental practitioners.

The review will see if their services couldn’t be provided by NHS contracted dentists.

There are 17 salaried dental service dentists on the Island, currently serving the needs of 30,000 people.

Currently the terms of reference are being prepared but once ready further information will be released to the relevant parties.
