The Department of Health and Social Care says it doesn’t know if the Island’s getting a new mobile phone technology.
A Freedom of information request to the department asked if 5G internet was coming to the Island or if it was already being tested here.
In its response, the DHSC said it doesn’t hold the information.
But it added the Island’s mobile phone regulator, the Communications and Utilities Regulatory Agency, might know.
