Handing over the outsourcing of the TT to a private promoter will be done at the 'earliest opportunity' but issues with other stakeholders need ironing out first.
That's the message from the Economic Development Minister who says Vision Nine can't be appointed until all interested parties have signed up to the contract:
This week the department confirmed there would be at least a one year delay in the firm taking over the promotion and running of the TT and Classic TT events.
