The minister for the Department of Education Sport and Culture has told House of Keys members that in the last three years, no school pupils have been expelled.
Daphne Caine MHK answered a question put to her by Jason Moorhouse MHK for Arbory, Castletown and Malew asking how many secondary school pupils had been expelled in the last three years and which hadn't had any.
Mrs Caine replied that instead of expulsion, the department could consider moving a student to another school in exceptional circumstances:
