People on the Isle of Man are being encouraged to think about their lifestyle choices in an effort to avoid getting gout.
The Department of Health has spoken out after a report in the UK showed that one in 40 people are affected by the condition.
Caused by a build-up of uric acid in the blood, Gout was historically thought to only affect the rich.
