The Department of Infrastructure have thanked the public for their patience whilst they carry out multiple road works.
Director of Highways Richard Pearson says he accepts the burden it places on road users and local business, however the works have been branded essential.
The busy Ballanard road was yesterday reopened, with works running ahead of schedule.
Mr Pearson says the efficient working practices mean they’ll have finished the whole of the works well ahead of time:
