Department of Health Impose £50,000 Cap on IVF Treatment
The Department of Health have announced plans to cut the funding for fertility treatments in half.
In the past over £100,000 has spent on the treatments, which helps couples conceive who otherwise couldn’t have – there has now been a £50,000 cap introduced.
Any locals in need of the treatment are sent to the UK with the Government covering the costs.
Despite the significant money saving measure the Department of Health have said the funding available is still considerable when compared to the UK.
