DOE To Save £45,000 From Swimming Lesson Cutbacks
The Department of Education has decided to withdraw swimming lessons for primary school students for a period of time in an effort to claw back from much needed funds.
Lessons throughout the Summer term are going to be withdrawn, after carefull consideration this was deemed to be the slowest period in terms of swimming development.
It’s thought as a result of the cut back the Department will save in the region of £45,000.
