Mrs Payne is now coming to the Isle of Man to meet with the Home Affairs Minister Adrian Earnshaw
This morning a petition with 4600 signatures in support of Sarah's Law for the Isle of Man has been handed to the Home Affairs Minister.
A group of concerned parents say they have the right to know if a sex offender lives in their area, there are 30 registered sex offenders on the Island. Minister Earnshaw says the police know who and where they are.
Sarah Payne was murdered when she was 8 years old, her mother backed a campaign for the government to allow controlled access to the sex offenders register.
Mrs Payne is now coming to the Isle of Man to meet with the Home Affairs Minister Adrian Earnshaw who said: 'The situation was going to be reviewed in October 2013, that's now being bought forward, and is now going to be look at before the year is out. I am willing to hear what Mrs Payne has to say and if the current law needs to be changed.' (audio above)
Demonstrators gathered ahead of today's Tynwald sitting with banners and posters to show Government Ministers, and the Island, what they believe is a parental right. They told 3FM 'We won't stop until the law is passed.' (audio above)
