Gearbox fault means longer sailing times for the next few weeks.
A faulty gear box on the Manannan has led to delays in sailings.
The reduced power means sailing time is longer than normal, with crossing times taking around 3 hours.
The Steam Packet Say the fault is extremely disappointing, as all four gearboxes were overhauled and serviced last winter.
Once the spare parts to fix it are delivered the repair is expected to take at least a few weeks.
