Two defibrillators have been installed at sheltered housing complexes on Island, thanks to a local charity.
The defibs have been set up at Cooyrt Balleigh, Kerroo Glass and Mayfield Apartments in the north of the Island.
Craig's Heartstrong Foundation provided the units and Gough Electrical Limited, fitted the units at no cost to the committee.
Ramsey and Northern Districts Housing Committee chairperson Marinda Fargher said: ‘ We sincerely hope there is never a need to use these devices, but they are there to help save lives.'
