A lifesaving defibrillator has been installed outside the House of Manannan in Peel.
The facility comes after a partnership between the Craig's Heartstrong Foundation and Manx National Heritage,
The technology uses an electric current to restart the heart when someone is in cardiac arrest and is available for the entire community.
Anyone who needs to access the defibrillator in an emergency should call 999, they'll then be given a code to open the box and guidance on how to use the machine.
It can be used used by someone with no medical training, with an in-built speaker giving simple step-by-step instructions to operate.
