The Island's unemployment rate was unmoved last month but the amount of people registered as out of work is around double what it was in December 2019.
The rate stood at 1.8 per cent in December 2020 according to the latest government figures
Meanwhile, 756 are registered as unemployed - a rise of 380 compared with the same time twelve months before.
Of those out of work, 63 per cent are men and 37 per cent women.
