Residents have until later this week to give their views on potential reforms to adoption laws on Island.
Government is currently running a consultation on a proposed new Adoption Bill, which officials say will bring Manx laws around the matter in line with best practice and highlight what must be considered when decisions are made over the adoption of a child.
They add, if approved, the new measures will reduce delays in the adoption process and would make it easier for people who have been adopted and their birth relatives to make contact with each other, should they wish to do so.
Those wanting to put forward their views are able to do so on the online government consultation hub before the deadline this Friday (October 23).
