Any students or companies interested in taking part in a government internship initiative have just a few days left to sign up.
The Summer Internship Programme from the Department for Enterprise is aiming to give young people and students aged 18 to 25 the chance to gain real-life work experience and build important knowldedge on CV building, and developing interpersonal skills.
It was among the first initiatives unveiled as part of the £100million Economic Recovery Fund announced by Treasury Minister, Alf Cannan MHK, in his budget update in July.
The programme will provide full wage support at a weekly rate of £256 per week for businesses, third sector and other organisations.
Placements will last for an average of six weeks, with flexible options for them to run for shorter or longer periods if required, based on project availability and study commencement dates.
Officials are reminding anyone interested the deadline for individuals and businesses to apply for the scheme is this Wednesday (September 30).
