It's 'unlikely' the death of birds in the south of the Island is connected to bird flu.
That's according to the Island's Chief Veterinary officer - following three gulls found dead on Port Erin Beach yesterday.
Dr Beckett says due to the location and condition of the birds it's unlikely their death is connected to the Avian Influenza outbreak.
The first case of Bird flu - which is highly contagious amongst birds, was confirmed on Island last weekend.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is encouraging people to continue to report sightings of any dead birds, and are reminded not to touch them.
