People are being asked not to touch sick or dead birds after a number were discovered on the Island's beaches.
More than 20 dead birds have been found along the south and west coasts since last Thursday.
The government says the birds, mainly guillemots, have been found at Peel, Fleshwick, Spaldrick, Niarbyl and Kirk Michael, Port Erin and near the Calf of Man.
They are now being tested for bird flu - the government says the risk to humans is low but people shouldn't touch them, but instead report them by calling 685844 or emailing agriculture@gov.im with as many details as possible.
