Douglas Borough Council will be watering the town's plants less regularly with the introduction of the hosepipe ban.
They say they recognise the importance of saving water at this time.
The floral displays will be looked after using non-drinking water.
The council announced the decision on social media today.
The use of non-drinking water for the irrigation of floral displays will commence from Saturday 4th August until the hosepipe ban is lifted. Irrigation of Douglas Golf Course is not affected as this is already done using extracted non-drinking water. Thanks Parks Services
