Musician Davy Knowles is playing a special gig this evening to help raise money for a local singer who has terminal cancer.
The Manxman, who now lives in America, will perform at The Bay in Port Erin in aid of the Katherine Crowe Research Fund.
To raise awareness of her campaign Katherine recently released her version of "Smile" which was recorded at the Abbey Road Studios.
Playing alongside Davey tonight will be a number of other well known names on the Island’s circuit including Simon Campbell, Steve and Lindsey Rowe and Danny Kneale.
The event starts at 8.30pm. It’s free to attend with donations encouraged. All money will be donated to the research fund which is raising money for less toxic, safer cancer treatments.
