David Knight and Mark Cavendish share Sportsman honour

Snowboarder Zoe Gillings was selected as Sportswoman of the year.

At the Sports Awards last night the top honour of sportsman of the year was split between World Enduro motorcycling champion David Knight, and cycling star Mark Cavendish.

It was the third time in their respective careers that they had shared the top award.

Snowboarder Zoe Gillings was selected as Sportswoman of the year.

Cavendish also picked up an award for the Isle of Man ambassador of the year, Jock Waddington received got recognition for winning the Parish Walk three times.
