A date has been set for when the Douglas Promenade refurbishment is expected to be complete.
In a revised plan for the scheme the Department of Infrastructure is now planning for the project to be finished by August 17, 2021.
The phasing of the work has also been altered to negate landside working outside hotels and businesses during the May 1 to September 1 summer season.
Further details of how the initiative will be carried out were on display at a public drop-in session at the Best Western Palace Hotel & Casino in the capital last night.
