The aim of the latest appeal is to bring into focus the fact that DASH are on hand to offer help and support to the families as well as the individual with the problem.
The service are keen to impress that anyone who uses or develops a drug problem has a family, parents, friends and in a lot of cases children.
They say the impact of drug and alcohol abuse on a family can not be underestimated and they hope people make use of their free service so they can attempt to reduce more problems further down the line.
Anyone contemplating making use of the service are advised that calls are confidential, and appointments can be made – you can contact DASH on 615622.
