Police are appealing for information after reports of 'dangerous overtaking' on the Mountain Road.
Officers say it happened just before 10am on Sunday, October 2 near Hailwoods Rise.
There were several witnesses to the incident, however authorities are keen to speak with the driver of a small blue van traveling towards Douglas in the area at this time.
