An initiative which brings festive joy to families across the Island is being supported by Dandara once again.
Backed by the local home builder for the sixth consecutive year, The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal collects donations of food, toys and gifts each winter.
It then distributes to local families and individuals in need over the festive period.
The 2019 Christmas Appeal provided toys for 456 children and food parcels or vouchers for 354 families and individuals.
The Salvation Army is also appealing to the Manx public and other local businesses for donations of toys, gifts and food ahead of this year’s Christmas Appeal.
Anyone wishing to make a donation can drop a toy into any branch of the IOM Bank or contact: The Salvation Army on 627742 or douglas@salvationarmy.org.uk
