He triumphed in his debut at the Irish KDM Cookstown 100, beating some fierce competition.
After qualifying in 11th place the Manxman looked to have his dream quashed as William Dunlop looked favourite for the win.
Not to be outdone Dan beat his time by just 0.3 seconds taking the win.
