A service of remembrance will take place this evening in the west for the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
At 8pm in St John's Chapel the Royal British Legion will host the event.
A ceremonial beacon will also be lit at 9:15pm.
It's part of numerous other events that have been happening this week on Island to mark the Normandy landings on this day in 1944.
