Cyclists' injuries prompt call for new law

A cycling safety campaign is renewing calls for a minimum passing distance law for the Isle of Man after two cyclists were injured at the weekend.

Safe Cycling Isle of Man says the two women were forced off their bikes on Saturday when a car tried to overtake them on a blind bend.

One will need surgery after dislocating their shoulder, while the other suffered a concussion.
