CWG Association says Island should be proud

Manx athletes making up Team Isle of Man have excelled at the Commonwealth Games.

The athletes are due to return to the Island this evening having broken a number of national records.

Onchan cyclist Peter Kennaugh won the Island's only medal taking silver in the point's race.

The Isle of Man Commonwealth Games Association says our athletes were - on occasion - level pegging with nations who have a much larger pool of talent.
