A fire has completely destroyed Curragh Wildlife park’s new lemur enclosure.
Staff at the park say they're devastated after the new lemur enclosure, due to open later this month has been totally ruined.
Firefighters were called to the park just before midnight yesterday and were able to quickly extinguish the flames.
However, although two of the four lemurs living inside the enclosure were safely recovered, two are still missing.
The park says it will remain closed today but will re-open tomorrow and apologises for any inconvenience.
