The Isle of Man's first cultural centre will be opened in St Johns.
It will be opened by April this year and will promote cultural and political identity.
A Manx Language Strategy is also being developed along with plans for a year of culture in 2018.
The initiatives are designed to celebrate the Island as a special place to live and work.
