A cruise ship on its maiden voyage, commanded by a Manx captain, is making the Island its first port of call.
Captain Carl Smith, from Peel, will be steering the Azamara Pursuit into Douglas on Wednesday.
Minister for Enterprise, Laurence Skelly, has called the occasion a 'great honour'.
The ship was first launched in 2001, bought in 2018 by Azamara and has had an extensive revamp at Harland and Wolff Shipyard in Belfast.
