Crown Dependencies to Feature More Prominantly in Next Years Rememberance Sunday Wreath Laying?
A UK MP has put forward a proposal which would see members of the Crown Dependencies honoured in each years Remembrance Sunday.
As has always been the case during the television coverage of each Remembrance Sunday the Island has been notable by its absence.
Each year the Queen lays a wreath at the Cenotaph to remember those who died in the World Wars.
The crown dependencies include Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man, all of which had many servicemen who lost their lives fighting for King and Country.
So far the UK Ministry of Justice have vowed to look at the matter closer saying they take their constitutional responsibilities seriously.
