Firefighters were mobilised this week following a property fire in Santon.
At around 11pm on Monday crews from Douglas, Castletown and Malew were called to the incident on Harbour Road where logs which had been stored too close to a wood burning stove had caught fire.
The fire and rescue service says the damage caused was minimal and teams were able to ventilate the property.
Emergency services add with those type of stoves proving more popular these days, anyone who has them should stick to the advice including making sure they're fitted properly, cleaned regularly and items are kept away from them.
