The Island's Chief Minister has welcomed 'encouraging' news of a Coronavirus vaccine.
It comes following reports clinical trials of the vaccine have shown it can prevent 90 per cent of people from getting the virus.
The Pfizer and Bio 'N' Tech vaccine has now been tested on more than 40,000 people in six countries, with no safety concerns raised.
Mr Quayle has also ensured planning is underway so the Island can deliver a mass vaccination programme when needed.
