The Steam Packet company issued the information this morning.
Currently - the 8.45am sailing to Heysham, it's afternoon return - and tonight's departure are all affected.
According to the website, those affected are asked to call 01624 661661 to re-arrange your booking.
3FM has contacted the Steam Packet for comment.
