The Manx parliament has backed plans to hold a review into the island's handling of the coronavirus pandemic.
The probe will scrutinise the government's lockdown measures and the timing of the border closure in March last year.
The Public Accounts Committee wanted the government to hold a full public inquiry but the Chief Minister warned that could several years and cost millions of pounds.
Plans for the review are expected to be discussed in a later sitting of parliament.
