The Manx government's COVID booster vaccination rollout begins this week.
It is initially for the over-seventies and the island's most vulnerable- all of whom have been contacted by letter.
Boosters will be offered to those between the ages of 50 and 70 from early November,
The government hopes tens of thousands will get a third jab over the coming months as part of measures to contain the virus over the autumn and winter.
As the rollout continues people will be contacted to make an appointment- some at their GP surgery, some at the Chester Street hub while while others will have a home visit.
The Manx government said it is confident there will be a good take-up, saying "we should do everything we can to avoid needing to go into hospital, and to protect our health services at their busiest time of year".
