Aaron Thompson of Strix Ltd and owner of Elements of Beauty Claire Bowman organised a leg waxing event, held at Strix Ltd’s Ronaldsway office yesterday.
Three members of Strix staff received leg waxes, including Aaron, and money raised will help his cousin, 33-year-old Emma Egerton fund her autoimmune treatment and increase the chances of prolonging her life.
Emma was treated for ulcerated colitis from age 11, before being diagnosed with Chron’s at the age of 16.
A fundraising page has been created for Emma – so far £36,155 has been raised with a target of £47,000.
