A teenager on the Isle of Man who has "cost taxpayers thousands" has been told she has "one last chance" to engage with the Youth Justice Team.
17-year-old Jessica Freya Dallison, of Glen Darragh Road in Marown, appeared at Douglas Courthouse this week where she admitted breaching a probation order.
The two year order was imposed in November last year after she was convicted of assaulting two police officers.
However between December 5th and February 6th she failed to attend appointments as directed - on the occasions she did attend she did not reflect on her offending behaviour.
In addition the court heard Dallison, who's a resident at a St Christopher's care home, had wasted police time on 15 occasions after care staff were forced to report her missing.
A report from the Youth Justice Team was read out asking for the order to be revoked - saying her "non-compliant behaviour" was costing taxpayers money; adding "nothing has been gained".
Dallison's advocate told the court she'd had "extreme difficulties with timekeeping" but said she was "keen to re-engage" and asked for another chance.
Imposing a new two-year probation order Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes told Dallison "if you don't cooperate and engage then nothing will be achieved - you need help".
